At Value Investing Headquarters we typically don’t comment on press releases, however, an exciting thing is happening that hasn’t happened before. The Berkshire Hathaway annual shareholders meeting will be streamed live on the internet. The length of the broadcast is estimated to include 5 hours of Q&A.
Why is this such a big deal?
It has been said that if you want to learn about value investing, a good place to start is going to the Berkshire Hathaway website and reading all of the letters to shareholders starting in 1977 and going through each one in sequence until you get to the current year. We agree that reading those letters from start to finish will go a long way to understanding how to invest like the pros.
When: April 30th, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. ET

The live Q&A part of the shareholders meeting has traditionally been more challenging to get to because you either have to be a shareholder and go to the annual meeting in Omaha every year, or you have to listen to someone else recounting of the highlights. Neither one of those options is as good as having access to the live session first hand.
